The Clash Season 1 champion Golden Cañedo has a musical treat up her sleeve with the release of "Walang Hanggang Sandali," a new single under GMA Music.
She considers it a blessing to have been entrusted with a song composed by esteemed OPM artists Ebe Dancel, Yumi Lacsamana, Herbert Hernandez, and Jim Paredes. The song was likewise a product of the 1st Filscap Master Camp, the first major songwriting collaboration in the Philippines.
“I feel honored that I was chosen to sing this song. I look up to them dahil sila ‘yung mga pinapakinggan ko noon and hinahangaan ko ‘yung mga kanta nila,” Golden said during the virtual launch of the latest single.
“And now, I’m the one singing their song. I can only be thankful to GMA management because they gave me this opportunity to give life to this song,” she added.
"Walang Hanggang Sandali” is about chance encounters and how destiny works behind-the-scenes in meeting the right person to love. Having been in a relationship herself, Golden shared the feeling of finding her special someone.
“Only God knows kung sino ang nakatadhana para sa atin. And when that perfect time comes, parang masasabi mong ‘yun na ang magiging simula ng ‘Walang Hanggang Sandali.’It feels good to be in love with the right person,” the teen singer stated.
Golden’s new single will be available for streaming on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and other digital platforms beginning Aug. 25.
