A vehicle carrying actress Kim Chiu was reportedly shot at by unidentified gunmen at the corner of Katipunan and C.P. Garcia, Quezon City on Wednesday morning, March 4.
According to a police report, the two gunmen were onboard a motorcycle and fired eight shots into Kim’s vehicle. The suspects then fled towards Katipunan Avenue.
In an Instagram post, Kim said she was sleeping inside her car when she was awakened by several gunshots.
“I don’t have an idea what really happened, mistaken identity? I guess?? Napag tripan?” she asked.
“I was shocked and asked my driver what happened, then I saw this bullet on the windshield where my head is laying ‘buti nakahiga ako.’ Pano kung tinuloy ko magbasa ng script?” she carried on.
The 29-year-old actress assured that she and her companions (her driver and assistant) were unharmed.
“Inisip ko na lang walang nasaktan sa amin. God protected us,” she said.
According to the police report, Kim proceeded to her taping after the incident. She’s currently doing Love Thy Woman, an afternoon series on ABS-CBN. The drama also stars Xian Lim.
