Manila Water Foundation (MWF) just sealed a partnership with the Philippine Dental Association (PDA) to co-present World Oral Health Day on March 20, 2020, a global celebration that promotes proper oral health care. A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) presentation was held on February 2 during PDA’s Open House in Makati in celebration of the 16th National Dental Health Month.
With the theme, Unite for Mouth Health, this year’s campaign will rally all Filipinos to focus on their oral hygiene as part of taking care of themselves and their families.
PDA was represented by their President, Dr. Stephen B. Almonte, together with Dr. Anthony Gutierrez, Officer-in-Charge for the PDA-FDI Committee on World Oral Health Day. MWF was represented by its Executive Director, Mr. Reginald M. Andal, together with Ms. Jubail Pasia, Flagship Programs Manager and Nix Hipolito, Partnerships Manager.
Last year’s World Oral Health Day Celebration had a total of 3.2 million reaches through on-site celebrations and multi-media campaigns.
