To cap off the celebration of its 62nd Cityhood Anniversary, the City Government of Caloocan conducted the 2024 Outstanding Citizens Awards (OCA) Night led by City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan on Friday, February 16 at the Caloocan City Sports Center.

Various personalities and organizations were recognized with different awards, including Early Bird Taxpayers, Outstanding Employees and Barangays, Special Awards for contributions in varying sectors, and the most coveted 6 Pillars Award for Entrepreneurship, Health, Public Service, Education, Peace and Order, and Good Governance.

Mayor Along congratulated all those who received the awards in the OCA Night and expressed his gratitude for their natural commitment and dedication in helping the city government provide the best kind of services to its constituents.

The local chief executive likewise hoped that the awardees will continue to be partners of the city for its progressive development and declared that his administration will be consistent in ensuring the quality of the programs and projects provided to the general public.

Let this recognition be a symbol of your renewed commitment to your advocacies and to our city,” Mayor Along stated.

“In return, I vow to make sure that all our services, programs and projects will be realized sooner rather than later.

Also recognized in the OCA ceremony were the city centenarians who were provided by the city government with an additional Php 25,000 on top of the cash grant to be provided by the national government.
