Promising Sparkle actor Michael Sager expressed his wish to make a brief return to the popular afternoon soap opera Abot-Kamay na Pangarap before its conclusion. He cited missing the camaraderie and enjoyable atmosphere on set.
Sager’s character was written off the show due to conflicting taping schedules for his role in the upcoming GMA drama Shining Inheritance. He hopes for the opportunity to bid farewell to his character, Mico.
“I really hope that my character Mico will be able to grace one more episode so I can say goodbye,” he said.
As for Shining Inheritance, where he stars alongside Kate Valdez, Sager has yet to comment on his working relationship with her.
“During our screen test, we were just laughing throughout. We hoped that we would be picked, and fortunately, we made it to the final cast. During the initial taping days, Kate and I were still a little shy with each other. It was part of our getting-to-know stage. Our previous workshop helped to loosen us up,” he stated.
“Then came one particular scene which required us to be super sweet in front of the cameras. That’s when I felt that she was easy to work with. She’s good. She motivated me to give my best shot in the said scene. Then I asked her if she liked our scene. Being more senior in the industry than I am, her opinion would matter. When she said yes, I felt so good because somehow I was able to provide her with what she needed to make the scene work,” the bedimpled actor went on.
Meanwhile, his team-up with Zephanie in Sparkle U was well-received by fans. Is it okay with him to be paired with the singer-actress once again in the future?
“If given the opportunity, why not? I’ll be more than willing. I also enjoyed working with Zeph. At the same time, I also want to explore, and if it means I’ll get to work with her again in another genre, that will also be nice,” Sager replied.

In a recent interview, Maricel Soriano said that she is okay with her current personal state in which she has no romantic involvement.
“I’m okay even if I have no man in my life. In the first place, I don’t have the time. All I want to do is work and work for my children, which makes me happy,” she mused.
In the same interview, the Diamond Star was asked if she’s friends with all of her former lovers.
“Well, yes…except for one!”

With regards to the possibility of getting into a relationship again, Marya remains very consistent.
“As I’ve said, I don’t have the time. I’m so busy. I might tell him, ‘Who is this?’ like when I’m talking to someone over the phone,” she stated.
