Mandaluyong City – Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office General Manager Melquiades A. Robles, along with Assistant General Manager for Charity Sector, Dr. Larry R. Cedro, and Charity Assistance Department OIC-Department Manager, Atty. Marissa O. Medrano, presided over the handover of a patient transport vehicle to the Municipality of Real, Quezon on Monday, January 8, 2024, at the lobby of the PCSO Conservatory Building.
Also in attendance were PCSO Chief of Staff Atty. Lyssa S. Pagano, representatives from the Legal Department, and PTV recipient Mayor Diana Abigail Diestro “Bing” Aquino with her husband and staff.
During the ceremony, GM Robles emphasized that PCSO’s charitable programs, including the Patient Transport Vehicle Donation Program, are made possible through the public’s continued support of the Agency’s gaming products such as the Lotto games, STL, and Sweepstakes.
Mayor Aquino expressed her gratitude for the new patient transport vehicle, acknowledging the significant help it will provide in transporting patients, senior citizens, and others in need to the nearest medical facilities. She also thanked the PCSO Management and Chief of Staff Atty. Lyssa S. Pagano for the lifesaving vehicle.
Furthermore, Charity Assistance Department OIC Manager Atty. Marissa O. Medrano briefed Mayor Aquino on PCSO’s other charity services and products available for future requests to support the Municipality’s medically related programs.
The event was celebrated with the hashtag #PCSOHindiUmuurongSaPagtulong, reflecting the commitment of the PCSO to continue providing assistance and support to communities in need.
