Lucena City – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), headed by General Manager Melquiades Robles, distributed a total of P3,202,149.54 in lotto shares to various municipalities at the Quezon Convention Center in Lucena City on January 9, 2024.
Branch Manager Leticia Renomeron and employees from the Quezon Branch were also in attendance during the turnover.
In addition to the lotto shares, PCSO distributed 3000 lotto tickets to locals for a chance to win the P500M jackpot prize. They also brought P200,000.00 worth of medicines as participants of LAB FOR ALL, a nationwide initiative of First Lady Marie Louise “Liza” Araneta Marcos, which offers free medical consultation, laboratory, and healthcare check-ups.
Quezon Provincial Governor Angelina “Helen” Tan, together with the Municipal Mayors, expressed their gratitude to GM Robles for the continued support in delivering various charitable programs and for uplifting the hopes of families with the free lottery tickets—an opportunity to become future millionaires.
The local government units (LGUs) also appreciated GM Robles for personally delivering their lotto checks, which will be used for welfare and community programs in their respective towns.
