In collaboration with the Strong Group Athletics, the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is inviting players from all over the country for the “Player Selection Process” to be held from February 5 to 6 at the Gatorade Hoops Center in Mandaluyong City.
“We passionately encourage players from Visayas and Mindanao, as well as those who have graduated from various universities, to showcase their talents in this exercise,” said SGA owner Frank Lao.
This exercise will be facilitated by SGA volleyball consultant and Farm Fresh head coach Jerry Yee.
The sessions are scheduled to take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on both days, providing participants with ample time to showcase their skills and potential.
Yee, a seasoned mentor with a rich background in volleyball, expressed his enthusiasm for leading the sessions, stating, “I am honored to represent Strong Group Athletics in this exciting venture. We are on the lookout for passionate and skilled players. It’s an opportunity for athletes to shine and potentially join the ranks of elite volleyball professionals.”
SGA will see action in the country’s first professional volleyball league, which is slated to tip off its first conference this February 20.
