Content production and film company 28 Squared Studios dropped the teaser for the highly-anticipated film “Under Parallel Skies” on Thursday, giving a first look at the onscreen pairing of Thai superstar Win Metawin and Filipina actress Janella Salvador in the movie.
Set in Hong Kong, the film takes viewers on a journey through the eyes of Win’s character, a man grappling with a mysterious past. As he attempts to move forward, he encounters Janella’s character, a woman who becomes unexpectedly intertwined with his own story.
Rumors of their collaboration swirled back in June when Win hinted at a new project with a non-Thai co-star. Fans’ suspicions were ignited when photos surfaced of the two actors participating in a traditional good luck ceremony, often held before the start of filming.
A month later, their movie partnership was officially confirmed, much to the delight of their fans.
Helmed by acclaimed director Sigrid Bernardo, known for her work on the heartwarming film “Kita Kita” (2017), “Under Parallel Skies” is slated to hit Philippine cinemas in April.
