The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency seized P31.07 billion worth of illegal drugs from July 1, 2022 to Dec. 31, 2023, it said in a report released Friday.
PDEA agents have seized 4,212.24 kilos of shabu, 48.2 kilos of cocaine, 54,015 pieces of ecstasy, and 3,158.98 kilos of marijuana, and arrested 5,137 high-value suspects.
It also dismantled at least 822 clandestine drug dens in 55,495 total anti-drug operations during the period.
PDEA also said the total number of drug-cleared barangays is 28,243, while 7,268 barangays are still drug-affected.
