Erwin Tulfo, Pacquiao, Marcoleta top PAPI survey on senatoriables

THE latest survey by the Publishers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PAPI) among transport groups showed party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo topping the list of senatoriables in next year’s elections, followed by boxing icon and former senator Manny Pacquiao, and Rodante Marcoleta, also a party-list lawmaker.

The PAPI survey was conducted on Dec, 16-22. 2023 among transport groups Federation   of   Jeepney Operators   and   Drivers   Association   of   the   Philippines (FEJODAP), Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operator sa Pilipinas (STOP), and the Confederation of Passenger Transport in Central, Inc. (CPTCL).

The poll had a margin of error of +/- 3 percent.

The nationwide transport survey covered jeepney drivers and operators across the country.

Next to Marcoleta was Senator Imee Marcos, followed by former Senate president Tito Sotto and former President Rodrigo Duterte.

Only the top 20 were included in the list, although the 1,500 respondents were given their own choices for senators in the 2025 mid-term elections.

Next in the line-up were Senators Lito Lapid, Christopher Lawrence Go, Ronald Dela Rosa, and Ramon Revilla Jr.

In the 11th spot was former vice president Leni Robredo, followed by former senator Panfilo Lacson.

Taking the 13th slot was Senator Pia Cayetano, Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr., and former Manila City Mayor Francisco Moreno picking up the 15th slot.

In 16th place was Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, followed by former senator Mar Roxas, Senator Francis Tolentino, and lawyer Harry Roque, with former senator. Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan bringing up the rear.
