ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Champion Mikey “Darth Rigatoni” Musumeci is taking on a new challenge, but it won’t come from the confines of the global stage of ONE Championship.
Instead, it will take place in a rather unfamiliar setting of a boardroom as he joins nine other candidates from all over the world in the second season of its critically acclaimed reality series, “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition,” which airs on Netflix across Asia starting next week, December 28.
ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong will once again test the candidates in a series of high-stakes competition, and just like in the first edition, physical challenges will go hand in hand with the business aspect of the show.
The candidates will battle it out for the grand prize of a US$250,000 job offer to work at ONE’s headquarters in Singapore under Sityodtong.
“The first season of ‘The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition’ was a huge success, ranking in the Top 10 on Netflix in multiple countries and trending on Netflix all around the world,” Sityodtong said.
“Our new crop of candidates will face the toughest ‘Apprentice’ season ever. I can’t wait to showcase this.”
The second season of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” was filmed across different locations in Singapore and Qatar, and was co-produced by Qatar Media City.
Like the first season, Singapore’s Refinery Media will once again handle the show’s production, and they promise to be even better after the first season.
