President Marcos appointed Transportation Undersecretary Cesar Chavez as Presidential Assistant for Strategic Communications.

Mr. Marcos signed Chavez’s appointment on Tuesday, Dec. 5.

With the rank of undersecretary, Chavez will be directly under the Office of the President and not the Presidential Communications Office.
