Taguig City formally rolled out its “Christmas by the Lake” celebration with the ceremonial switch-on of the lights illuminating the country’s reputedly largest lights park.

This year, the scenic six-hectare facility by the Laguna Lake promises “even more dazzling display of lights and attractions, featuring Instagram-worthy spots that will make the festive season truly unforgettable.”

“We are proud of Taguig, our Probinsyudad, a city where you can enjoy the finest amenities of a modern city but very unique because here you can feel the charm of a province. Where can you find a city in Metro Manila that is like this? We are proud of our Probinsyudad and we are happy to share the happiness of Taguigueño to all of you,” said Mayor Laarni Cayetano.

Upon entering, guests will be greeted by the sprawling Concert Grounds, adorned with a majestic Christmas tree illuminated by thousands of lights. The area also features food kiosks and a stage hosting exciting events throughout the season.

The Lights of Christmas Park beckons with designs and installations that will truly captivate the senses and fill your heart with joy.

Continue your adventure through over a dozen attractions! Experience the magical Dancing Light Tunnel and discover captivating silhouettes created by the lighted eggs. Pose by the “prism trees” for a perfect blend of nature, art, and geometry. Reflect on life as you navigate the Maze of Life.

Another highlight at TLC Park is the Aqua Luna Lights and Sounds Show, featuring laser and beam animations synchronized to beautiful sound effects, including an awe-inspiring aerial lights show. Don’t miss “Ang Regalo ni Kaimana,” a show filled with life lessons playing every 30 minutes starting at 6 pm.

Indulge in a gastronomic break at the TLC Food Park. Explore the food strip along Laguna Lake and conclude your journey at Mercado Del Lago Food Park.

Returning from last year, The Walkway of Lights awaits, offering a pathway filled with radiant displays and picturesque views. For added comfort, a village train ride is available for seniors, persons with disabilities, and pregnant women.

The Lights of Christmas is pet-friendly so visitors can bring their furbabies. However, only small-breed dogs and cats are allowed. They should have an updated anti-rabies vaccine. They should also be on a leash and wearing diapers while inside the attraction.

There are designated parking areas for those visiting with vehicles. Medics and police are also on the ground.

The Lights of Christmas will be open to the public until Jan. 14, 2024.
