THE Land Transportation Office has revoked the driver’s license of a female motorist who figured in a road accident in Calamba, Laguna that left at least four people dead – including two children – and several others injured in early November.

Chief Vigor Mendoza II said the motorist, driver of a Ford Ranger Raptor, was found to be under the influence of liquor when the accident happened, in violation of Republic Act 4136 or the Land Transportation and Traffic Code, and RA 10586 or the Anti-Drunk and Drugged Act of 2013.

Earlier, Mendoza ordered a 90-day preventive suspension of the driver’s license. Based on the investigation, the Ford Ranger Raptor veered toward the opposite lane of the national highway in Barangay Bucal on Nov. 1  resulting in her vehicle hitting a tricycle and two other vehicles.
