GAC Motor Philippines announced Thursday its best-ever October performance with total retail sales hitting 523 percent increase year-on-year to 268 units from 43 units in 2022, while year-to-date sales rose to 1,488 units, up 305 percent from 367 units in the same period in 2022.
“Our continuous success in retail sales has propelled GAC Motor to unparalleled heights, affirming the growing number of Filipinos who appreciate and recognize the unmatched value that our vehicles offer,” said GAC Motor brand head Franz Decloedt.
He said the company is moving closer to achieving its target of 2,000 units by yearend, “which bolsters our commitment and confidence in providing our customers with the utmost experience, encompassing exceptional vehicles, top-notch after-sales service, and enhanced accessibility through an expanded network of dealers.”
GAC Motor’s continued sales growth can be attributed to the increasing demand for the all-new GS3 Emzoom and the 7-seater GS8 SUV. Both models are driving the surge in sales.
The GS3 Emzoom remains in high demand, with year-to-date sales of 423 units since its launch four months ago, while the premium GS8 SUV delivered year-to-date sales of 378 units, and one of GAC MOTOR’s most successful nameplates.
The Emkoo and Empow also continue to attract buyers looking for the perfect blend of technology and performance.
These models offer a compelling combination of cutting-edge innovation and impressive power.
The EMKOO recorded a total of 124 units sold, while the EMPOW followed closely with 118 units sold in October, demonstrating the strong demand for both models.

GAC Motor recently celebrated the formal inauguration of GAC Cainta showroom in Oct. 11, 2023, on track with its plans to expand its dealer network to 20 locations by year-end.
