Puerto Azul Land Inc. recently announced the construction of Puerto Azul Gateway, conceptualized as a modern commercial center and envisioned by its developers to help drive domestic tourism in the coastal municipality of Ternate, Cavite.

Once dubbed as “Asia’s Paradise Resort” and the “World’s Golfing Capital,” Puerto Azul is a vast and sprawling land bank located in the coastal area of Cavite that offers the option of mountain and beach attractions.

Just 90 minutes by car from Metro Manila, the project aims to compliment the plans to re-develop Puerto Azul which was popular as a golfing and exclusive tourist destination.

In the past, the Puerto Azul Golf & Country Club hosted some of the most high-profile golf tournaments from the Philippine Open to the celebrity-studded Goma Cup of actor Richard Gomez.

Last April, it was announced that Bloomberry Resorts Corp. entered into a purchase agreement with Boulevard Holdings Inc., Puerto Azul Land Inc., Ternate Development Corp., and Monte Sol Development Corp. for some 279 hectares which will be developed into an integrated resort complex featuring a world-class casino, a luxury hotel, an all-new golf course and other mixed-use development.
