The Azkals are getting ready for a training camp, and an away friendly with Bahrain and an unofficials showdown with Uzbekistan.

The camp is being organized during this month’s FIFA international window, and in relation to the Azkals’ buildup for the coming World Cup Qualifiers (WCQ).

The 132nd-ranked Azkals will meet the No. 86 Bahrainis on Oct. 17 as part of the 10-day training camp.

Before that the Azkals, will have a matchup with Uzbekistan on Oct. 15, Sunday.

Weiss is preparing the Azkals for their campaign Manama for the second round of the WCQ, which begins Nov. 16.

“I need to get a clear picture on who is available and who might be an interesting player in the future,” added Weiss.

At total of 25 players were called up for the buildup in Bahrain, with veteran Patrick Reichelt, leading the way.

Reichelt is among the national team’s most experienced active player with 77 appearances, along with skipper Neil Etheridge with 75 caps. Peter Atencio
