BTS’ Suga begins military service

Suga, a member of the global group BTS, has commenced his two-year military service.

Prior to his enlistment, the Korean idol took to the fan community app Weverse to bid farewell to his fans and the septet’s fans, known as ARMY.

“Hello, I’m Suga. I came to say goodbye!” began the 29-year-old rapper.

Suga also expressed his gratitude for all the support he has received since their debut as a group.

“Thanks to ARMYs, I was able to safely come to where I am right now,” he continued.

The BTS member then mentioned the beginning of his military service saying, “And now the time has come. I’ll diligently perform my service and return once it ends.”

The “Haegum” singer reminded his fans to stay healthy until he completes his duty. “Be cautious of the chilly change of seasons during this autumn season and take good care of yourselves.”

Suga concluded his message with a promise to reunite with them as a group in 2025 for their comeback.

“ARMY!!!! Always thankful, and I love you,” concluded the singer-dancer.”
