President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is set to fly to Singapore to discuss priority policies and programs in front of economic managers and business leaders at the 10th Asian Summit, the Palace said on Monday.

Mr. Marcos will travel to Singapore on September 13, the same day as his 66th birthday celebration.
According to the President Communications Office (PCO), the President will headline the 30-minute talk dubbed as “A Conversation with the President of the Republic of the Philippines”.
Hosted by the Milken Institute, the Asia Summit holds a decade-long work that focuses on public health, environmentalism, economic policy, and globalization.
It would be the first time a sitting Philippine President will address the Milken Institute’s Asia Summit.
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is also expected to be present at the annual gathering.
Meanwhile, the PCO said that President Marcos will also meet with business leaders to forge possible partnerships between the Philippines and Singapore in various industries during his stay abroad.
“On the other hand, the President, upon the invitation of Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, will attend the finals of the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix 2023,” PCO said
Last year, the Chief Executive and his family attended the same Grand Prix, months after he was inaugurated as the country’s 17th president.
