Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. said select transactions may be affected in line with the government’s work suspension in Metro Manila on Sept. 1, 2023.
It said PESONet transactions made from Aug. 31 3:01 p.m. to Sept. 1 11:59 p.m. would be processed on Sept. 4.
“For same day fund transfer needs, you may send up to P50,000 via InstaPay using Metrobank Online or Metrobank Mobile App,” the bank said.
Checks deposited in the morning of Aug. 31 would be credited on Sept. 4, while checks deposited in the afternoon of Aug. 31 would be credited on Sept. 5.
Subscription and redemption of several Unit Investment Trust Funds are temporarily unavailable on Metrobank Online. Redemption proceeds scheduled for settlement on Sept. 1 would be processed on Sept. 4.
It listed the affected UITFs as Metro Money Market Fund, Metro Short Term Fund, Metro Max-3 Bond Fund, Metro Max-5 Bond Fund, Metro Corporate Bond Fund, Metro Unit Paying Fund, Metro Aspire Bond Feeder Fund, Metro Multi-Themed Equity Fund of Funds, Metro Clean Energy Equity Feeder Fund, Metro$ Money Market Fund, Metro$ Short Term Fund, Metro$ Max-3 Bond Fund, Metro$ Max-5 Bond Fund, Metro$ Asian Investment Grade Bond Fund, Metro$ World Equity Feeder Fund, Metro$ Eurozone Equity Feeder Fund, Metro$ US Equity Feeder Fund, Metro$ Japan Equity Feeder Fund, Metro$ China Equity Feeder Fund and Metro$ US Investment Grade Corporate Bond Feeder Fund.
“Meanwhile, Metrobank branches, Metrobank Online, the Metrobank Mobile app, Metrobank’s automated teller machines and cash acceptance machines are online and available for customers to conduct their financial transactions,” it said.
