The City Government of Caloocan will be providing students with a free haircut program to be held at various elementary and secondary schools starting on Saturday, August 26 until September 1, just in time for the re-opening of classes.
City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan encouraged all public school students to avail of the “libreng gupit” and prepare themselves for the start of a new school year.
Likewise, the local chief executive also noted that the city government has already made preparations for the resumption of classes on August 29, including programs for student assistance as well as plans for public order and safety.
Meanwhile, additional dates and venues for the “libreng gupit” are scheduled to be added to the initial release by the city government. –
