LAST night, multi-platinum singer and regular Winford Resort & Casino Manila (WRCM) performer Geneva Cruz shone on stage once again with her powerful vocals and dazzling presence.
Well-known for hits like “Anak ng Pasig” and “Kailan”, Cruz was discovered and mentored by National Artist of the Philippines for Music, Ryan Cayabyab.
Cruz was also the very first and youngest grand prize winner of The Voice of Asia in 1992. Her first solo album, I Like You, went double platinum and produced several hit singles. Her second solo album, In the Name of Love, went platinum and produced hits like “Ang Gaan ng Feeling” and “In the Name of Love”.
Delivering more live entertainment to its audience, WRCM is set to host another event on August 19, showcasing award-winning and multi-talented artist Ice Seguerra.
A former child star, Seguerra stepped into the limelight by appearing in movies and television shows, with a filmography of over 30 titles to date. Eventually, his career as an actor reached a turning point during his teen years when he turned his attention to music and scored a major hit in 2001 with the single “Pagdating ng Panahon”.
Since then, Seguerra has cemented his status as one of the most sought-after performers in the country today. General admission to this new normal concert experience is free, with VIP seating near the stage also available for a cover charge of P1,250 inclusive of food and drink or by earning 150 points a day.
