Gymnastics enthusiasts noticed the absence of Elaiza Andriel Yulo, the youngest of the popular Yulo siblings, in the 2023 Palarong Pambansa.

In turned out the 13-year-old Elaiza, also known as Yza, withdrew from the national games as she took the opportunity of training at GAGE under Olympic coach Al Fong in Kansas, Missouri, U.S.A.

The Yulo siblings are becoming a force to reckon with in gymnastics with Carlos Yulo hitting it big on the world stage and younger brother Karl Eldrew Yulo starting to create a name for himself.

Carrion said Alpha Gymnastics of the Philippines sponsored the US trip of the two young prospects to study and train in one of the best gymnastics’ schools for rhythmic events.

Elaiza’s most colorful stint outside of the country was in the 2022 JRC Artistic Gymnastics Stars Championships in Bangkok, Thailand, where she finished with four gold medals.

She dominated the individual all-around, vault, uneven bars, and floor exercise.
