96 needy residents get assistance from Caloocan’s PESO program

A total of 96 beneficiaries have received benefits from the Caloocan City government as part of its continuing Public Employment Service Office (PESO).

Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan acknowledged that most of the beneficiaries were willing to work or manage their own small businesses, but are mostly prevented by poverty which is why “the livelihood distribution program is a good step in the right direction for them.”

The mayor also called on the beneficiaries to let their businesses grow and encouraged his constituents to take care of the opportunities provided by the city government to them.
