The City Government of Navotas distributed 86 additional smart TVs to public elementary and high schools, Tuesday.

Among the 13 public schools that received 55-inch smart TVs in preparation for the incoming school year were Bagumbayan Elementary School, Dagat-dagatan Elementary School, Kapitbahayan Elementary School, North Bay Boulevard North Elementary School, San Roque Elementary School, and Tanza Elementary School.

Secondary school beneficiaries included Navotas National High School, San Rafael Technical and Vocational High School, Kaunlaran High School, Tangos National High School, Navotas National Science High School, Bangkulasi Senior High School, and Filemon T. Lizan Senior High School.

“We hope to provide Navoteño public school students with quality education that are on a par with private schools. We also aim to make learning more interesting and enjoyable for them,” Mayor John Rey Tiangco said.

Last year, the city government also distributed 169 smart TVs on top of the 225 and 320 50-inch smart TVs given to public schools in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
