The world of comedy and impersonation has lost one of its brightest stars. The legendary veteran comedian, Willie Nepomuceno, took his final bow on Wednesday, July 26, leaving behind a legacy that will be forever etched in the annals of entertainment history.

Nepomuceno’s death was confirmed by his family in a post shared on his Facebook page.

“To our family, loved ones, and friends, it is with deep sadness and heavy heart to announce the passing of our beloved father, {Willie Nepomuceno] on July 26, 2023, at the age of 75. He has peacefully joined our creator,” the post said.

Wilsson, the late comedian’s son, shared a heartfelt tribute to his father, expressing the immense impact he had on his life. 

“Farewell, Tatay. Though it’s incredibly hard to say goodbye, I am grateful for the time we had together. Your love, guidance, and presence in my life have shaped me into the person I am today. Your legacy will forever be engraved in my heart. Rest well, knowing that you are deeply loved and missed,” he wrote, his words resonating with the sentiments of countless others.

The news of Willie’s demise came as a shock to many. He was rushed to the Marikina Valley Medical Center after a fall that resulted in a head injury. While the incident led to his unfortunate passing, his memory will live on in the laughter he brought to millions.
