Navotas Representative Toby Tiangco and Mayor John Rey Tiangco bagged the first and second spots in their respective categories in the RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc.’s (RPMD) survey on the first year performance of Metro Manila mayors and representatives.
Cong. Tiangco took the lead in the Boses ng Bayan poll for Top Performing Metro Manila legislators with 93.8% approval rating and 95.1 trust rating.
The rating was based on District Representation, Legislative Performance, and Constituent Service.
“I am grateful and inspired by the steadfast support and trust given to me by our people. Navoteños can rest assured that we will continue to push for projects, bills, and other social services – such as medical assistance, TUPAD, and guarantee letters at government hospitals – that would serve their best interests and promote their well-being,” Cong. Toby said.
Mayor Tiangco, on the other hand, garnered 92.1% approval and 93.5% trust ratings.
“We thank Navoteños for their high regard for our brand of governance, and for their faith and trust in the work we do. They deserve no less than an effective, transparent, and accountable government that addresses their needs and helps them achieve their aspirations of a better life,” Mayor Tiangco said.
The Tiangco brothers are consistent top placers in the independent surveys regularly conducted by RPMD to foster accountability, transparency, and effective governance in the country.
The Boses ng Bayan poll was held on June 28-July 8, 2023 with 10,000 randomly selected registered voters as participants.
