FILIPINO celebrity and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach graced the Harbour Chill Carnival with her husband, Jeremy Jauncey, adding sparkle to the star-studded affair.
The carnival has received high praise from Pia, who described it as a vibrant and spectacular event filled with live music, performing arts showcases, breakdance demonstrations, and delectable street eats. She highly recommends the carnival to all visitors in Hong Kong, calling it the highlight of the summer.
Organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), the Harbour Chill Carnival offers free street performances, X-game shows, and Music Shows along the Wan Chai harbourfront for five consecutive weekends. With the stunning view of Victoria Harbour as a backdrop, attendees are in for a fantastic stay in Hong Kong.
The carnival began with a bang, featuring free entertainment and an even more dazzling edition of the “A Symphony of Lights” show. This event marks a significant step forward for the city, showcasing its recovery and inviting residents and visitors to enjoy a vibrant and energetic atmosphere.
According to Dane Cheng, the HKTB Executive Director, the event is a unique land-and-sea carnival that combines popular culture, music, and street performances.
The event aims to enhance visitors’ experience in Hong Kong by highlighting its diverse and lively side while providing a breathtaking view of the Harbour and a refreshing sea breeze.
