Over 800 Caloocan City students will participate in the Special Program of the Employment of Students (SPES), made possible through
the partnership of the city government’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Students from Caloocan City North and South will have their orientation on July 04 and 06, respectively. They will be assigned to
work at different city agencies and departments starting on July 20.

City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan praised the students’ dedication and perseverance in earning a little to help with their own
expenses and hoped that the program will also provide them with additional knowledge and skills.

Batang Kankaloo,” Mayor Along stated.

pagpapaunlad ng ating mga kababayan,” the Mayor said.

The special employment of the students will last for 20 days, wherein more than half of their compensation will be shouldered by the City
Government of Caloocan, while the remainder will be covered by the DOLE.
