SC announces list of 14 local testing centers for 2023 Bar examinations

The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday said there will be 14 local testing centers (LTCs) for the 2023 online and regionalized Bar examinations scheduled on Sept. 17, 20, and 24.

The SC said in a bulletin that the LTCs in the National Capital Region will be at the San Beda University, Manila; University of Santo Tomas, Manila; San Beda College, Alabang in Muntinlupa City; University of the Philippines, Quezon City; Manila Adventist College, Pasay City; and University of the Philippines, Bonifacio Global City.

In Luzon, the LTCs will be at the Saint Louis University in Baguio City; Cagayan State University in Tuguegarao City; and University of Nueva Caceres in Naga City.

In the Visayas, the LTCs will be University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu City, University of San Carlos also in Cebu City, and Dr. V. Orestes Romualdez Educational Foundation in Tacloban City will be the LTCs.

The SC also said there will be two LTCs in Mindanao – one at the Ateneo de Davao University in Davao City and the other at the Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro City.

The July 12, 2023 Bar Bulletin issued by Justice Ramon Paul Hernando, chairman of the 2023 Bar examinations committee, declared that the San Beda College in Alabang will also be the site of the national headquarters of the examinations “where the Court will be supervising and directing the simultaneous operations in the different LTCs during the Bar examinations.”

Justice Hernando said the venue selection by Bar examinees will be conducted on July 24 and 24, morning and afternoon.
