The Taguig City government will be holding a Hepatitis-B Infomercial Contest to raise awareness on the global burden of viral hepatitis and
encourage people to get tested, treated, and vaccinated.
The event, according to Mayor Laarni Cayetano, is part of the city’s celebration of World Hepatitis Day 2023.
The contest is open to all video content creators and city residents and must submit a valid identification with a Taguig address, a
registration form, and their video entry to taguigshcdic@gmail.com.
Videos must be a minimum of one (1) minute and a maximum of two (2) minutes.
The video must be both educational and promotional in content and must be presented in an engaging format. It must convey the basics of
Hepatitis B and encourage people to get tested, treated, and vaccinated. It must highlight the role of Taguig in combating the disease and the stigma and discrimination associated with it.
The message must not contain any offensive, inappropriate, indecent, obscene, defamatory, or slanderous content that could adversely affect
the name, reputation, or goodwill of any person/s, organization/s, or advocacies involved. It shall not contain material that promotes
bigotry, racism, hatred, or harm against any individual or promotes discrimination based on sex, race, religion, political affiliation,
disability, or sexual orientation.
The Top 10 participants from all entries chosen based on established criteria will vie for the Top 3 spots through social media engagement
and will be assessed based on the criteria.
Three (3) participants will be chosen as the winners, namely: 3rd place, 2nd place, and the 1st place winner of the Hepatitis-B
Infomercial Contest 2023.
The winning videos shall be owned by the City of Taguig and will be featured on the I Love Taguig Facebook page and all other social
platforms owned by the local government unit. Moreover, it shall form part of the educational content video in all Taguig health centers.
The deadline for registration and submission of videos is on or before July 21, 2023, Friday.
The Top 3 winners will receive a certificate, a plaque, and the following cash prizes: 1st Place – P10,000, 2nd Place – P8,000, and
3rd Place – P6,000
