The Taguig City government has inaugurated a three-story multi-purpose hall in Barangay Wawa designed to serve as a venue for a wide range of activities and services for the community.

The building, funded by Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, features a mini library, e-library, offices for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, and a child development center on the first floor. In the meantime, the second floor houses the barangay and youth council offices, while the third floor has the playing court and control room.

Leading the inauguration of the new multi-purpose building in Barangay Wawa are (from left) Taguig First District Representative Ading Cruz Jr., Barangay Wawa Chairman Phillip Buenaflor, Mayor Laarni Cayetano, and Vice Mayor Arvin Ian Alit

Mayor Laarni Cayetano hopes the new structure will help public servants give Taguigueños better services.

“The building will remain just a building, and its purpose will not be fulfilled if it is not live[d] in by public servants who will provide ample services to the people,” the city chief executive said during the inauguration.

Also present in the inauguration and blessing of the Multi-Purpose Building were Vice Mayor Arvin Ian Alit, First District Representative Ading Cruz Jr., City Councilor Hon. Gigi Valenzuela De Mesa, and Barangay Wawa Chairman Hon. Phillip Buenaflor.
