Rep. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez of Tingog party-list group on Thursday gave an inspirational message during the Commencement Exercises of the Leyte Normal University (LNU) – College of Education Class of 2023.
LNU is renowned for producing top-notch teachers and academic professors and has become Eastern Visayas’ pride in training educators.
In her message, Romualdez lauded the achievements of the Tingog scholars among the graduates, two of which have garnered high honors– Nicole Fave Balais, BEED cum laude and Angela Eulogio, BECED cum laude.
Yedda addressed the rest of the Tingog Scholars, quoting: “You are the embodiment of our organization’s mission, and we are immensely proud of you. You have not only proven that you have the capability to excel in your chosen fields, but you have also shown that with hard work and determination, nothing is impossible.”
Romualdez added: “You have earned your degree, and now it is time to pay it forward and use your education to make a positive impact in society.”
She emphasized to the graduates the importance of remembering their roots and to never forget to give back to the community.
Romualdez is the president of the Congressional Spouses Foundation, Inc. (CSFI).
