Dera admits he ‘went out’ of NBI cell

National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) detainee Jose Adrian “Jad” Dera, a co-accused of former Justice Secretary Leila de Lima in her remaining drug case, yesterday admitted he went out of the NBI detention facility four times.

Dera made the admission after being confronted by Sen. Francis Tolentino during the hearing of the Senate Committee on Justice and human rights, which he chaired.

A “mayor”  of the other inmates inside the NBI jail,  Tolentino even taunted Dera that he did “It’s More Fun in the Philippines,” having gone to Calatagan, Batangas; Subic Bay, Tagaytay City and Meteo Manila.

Sen. Ronald Dela Rosa also grilled Dera how he managed to go out of the NBI.

Dera, who has been accused as “bagman” of De Lima in her illegal drug operations,  stressed there was no consideration nor give any favor, money or any material fhing inorder to leave his detention cell.
