EVAP chief witnesses cutting-edge innovation at E-Mobility Asia 2023

Kuala Lumpur­—Edmund Araga, President of the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), participated in the highly anticipated EMA 2023 CEO Business Luncheon held on May 30, 2023, in Kuala Lumpur. The E-Mobility Asia (EMA) event, recognized as Southeast Asia’s ultimate platform for the electric vehicle industry, showcased cutting-edge electromobility offerings and unrivaled opportunities. This engagement served as a significant step towards the forthcoming Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, scheduled to take place on October 19-21, 2023, at the SMX Convention Center in the Philippines.

EMA 2023 encompassed a diverse range of activities, including an international exhibition, conference, seminar, and business meetings. The event focused on highlighting the latest technologies and solutions within the Electric Vehicle (EV) sector, covering automotive variants, charging infrastructure, battery technology, energy storage, logistics, and system providers, among others. EMA brought together industry experts, advisors, architects, OEM leaders, power companies, venture capitalists, and more, fostering a dynamic environment for networking and collaboration.
The recent EMA 2023 CEO Business Luncheon, held on May 30, 2023, welcomed 150 esteemed guests from 97 companies. Notable participants included strategic partners such as the Electric Vehicle Association of Malaysia (EVAM) and supporting associations from the Asian Federation of Electric Vehicle Associations (AFEVA), including the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT), the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (PERIKLINDO), and the ESG Association of Malaysia (ESGAM). Representatives from the Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) and the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry (MITI) were also in attendance, alongside local media outlets in Malaysia. This diverse gathering of industry leaders and enthusiasts created a vibrant atmosphere for networking and knowledge exchange.
