Registry of Deeds opens new office in Balanga City

The Registry of Deeds has a new office, located at the third floor of the Bunker Capitol in Barangay San Jose, Balanga City in Bataan.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla and Land Registration Authority (LRA) chief Gderardo Panga Sirios led the inauguration ceremony, along with

Bataan officials headed by Gov. Joet Garcia, 2nd District Rep. Abet Garcia, and Vice Gov. Cris Garcia.

Remulla and Sirios thanked the provincial government for its “generosity in providing the new office” that will improve the service delivery of the LRA.

Registry of Deeds Bataan head lawyer Amante Capuchino also expressed gratitude to the provincial government for continuing support to his office.

Gov. Garcia said the opening of the new Registry of Deeds office was “timely, making its services closer to the people.”

In another development, Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Limay expressed full support to Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio’s five-point priority programs.

These programs are 1) digitalize Customs processes 2) hit and surpass

the target 3) simplify procedures and facilitate secure trade 4) curb smuggling in all forms and 5) uplift employee welfare and development.

“We fully support the plans and programs of Commissioner Rubio”, said Port of Limay district collector William Balayo.

It can be recalled that in the month of February, BOC Port of Limay registered a record breaking 21 months of consistently collecting revenues beyond the monthly target.

From June 2021 to February 2023, the BOC Port of Limay under the leadership of Balayo, collected revenues beyond the monthly target for a total surplus of P35.9 billion.
