Caloocan celebrates women empowerment, crowns Natasha Jung as Miss Caloocan 2023

The Caloocan City Government, led by Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, held its Miss Caloocan Grand Coronation Night on Saturday, February 25 at Caloocan Sports Complex where Natasha Jung was crowned as Miss Caloocan 2023.

The said pageant is in line with the celebration of Caloocan’s 61st Founding Anniversary and it aims to empower women and showcase their advocacies for their fellow citizens.

Mayor Along highlighted in his speech that the said program likewise celebrates passion, beauty, grace and intelligence of Filipinas. Moreover, he believes that their dedication shall serve as inspiration to everyone.

“Tonight, we celebrate women empowerment. Ang ating mga kandidata sa Miss Caloocan ang sumisimbolo sa mga katangian ng isang Pilipina,” he said.

“Umaasa po ako na magiging inspirasyon kayo at ang inyong dedikasyon sa bawat Batang Kankaloo, lalo na ang inyong pagpapahayaag ng saloobin at pakikiisa sa mga programang panlipunan,” the Mayor added.

Miss Caloocan 2023 Natasha Jung received P150,000 cash prize and products from generous sponsors including Zel’e Wellness Center, San Miguel Corporation, Fame Leaders Academy, OhMyGirl Nail Polish, Mane ‘n Tail, Mestiza and V Brows Microblading.

Meanwhile, Ms. Patricia Agapito

was named first runner-up, Miss Kairi Clemente as second runner-up, Ms. Ma. Christine Ordeviza as third runner-up and Ms. Juliana Losito as fourth runner-up
