The OPM band Parokya Ni Edgar is responsible for several iconic hits Filipinos grew up with through the years. But the band shares more than just a love for music. In a recent post, the band’s frontman, Chito, called for support from their fans to help their bandmate battling a severe illness. Their sense of brotherhood relieves OPM enthusiasts because it sets an example of how music brings people together.

Vito Bacarro

Jim and Saab’s second-born son, Vito, captured the hearts of adoring netizens and music lovers through several videos showcasing his passion for playing instruments. He showed how quick he was to learn new beats and jam with his dad during sessions. Moreover, Vito is a certified Beatles fan who knows many hits by heart. Guess it shows that being musically inclined runs in the family.

People …are not talking about

Dawn Zulueta

The weeklong 2023 World Economic Forum held last week brought attention to its attendees, and the Filipinos had a laser focus on the actions of the country’s delegation. So when they saw Dawn shopping in Davos, Switzerland, they assumed she tagged along for the ride, especially since her husband, Antonio Lagdameo Jr., is the Special Assistant to the President. Whether it was at their expense or not, seeing Dawn living lavishly during a relevant conference was out of touch.

Andrew E

Although Toni Gonzaga’s anniversary concert sold out, people weren’t impressed with Andrew’s guesting. People expected to see more because Toni was celebrating two decades in the entertainment industry. Some people found Andrew’s appearance predictable and hoped to see other celebrities amp up their performances. Oh, well. At least Alex Gonzaga was there as Toni and the other guests poked fun at her for her controversial cake-smearing fiasco.
