Officials of the Philippine Basketball Association are headed for Japan on Thursday and will be in talks with the B.League on ways to strengthen the relationship of the two organizations.

Talks between the leagues are being arranged after many players in the PBA have decided to see action in the B. League.

Last year, Kiefer Ravena and Bobby Ray Parks were the former PBA pros who went on to sign with B.League clubs.

For the 2022-23 season, Matthew Wright, Greg Slaughter, Roosevelt Adams, Jay Washington, and Jordan Heading also headed to Japan, along with Jay Washington.

Last June, B. League chairman Shinji Shimada met PBA chairman Ricky Vargas and commissioner Willie Marcial.

Vargas and Marcial will lead a delegation of PBA officials going to Tokyo.
