CEBU CITY — The country’s largest construction trade show series returns to the Queen City of the South! PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas is back and for the first time, in hybrid format.
The much-awaited regional event is set from July 21 to 23, 2022 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino. The first-ever hybrid edition of PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas will feature more than 200 exhibitors representing over 360 brands—covering all items and products targeting the construction industry, from machines and equipment to tools, lighting, generators, elevators, software, and much more.
PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas will also be held simultaneously online through a designated platform (VX Events) to reach an estimated audience of more than 7,500 across the region and from other parts of the country. That’s on top of the estimated physical attendees of more than 5,000 from across Cebu and the Visayas region.
“Holding the trade show on-ground and online will facilitate a truly unique and comprehensive experience for our dear participants in the Visayas,” said Engr. Emilio Tumbocon, Chairman of the Philconstruct Events, Exhibitions, and Conferences Corp. (PEECC), the marketing arm of the Philippine Constructors Association (PCA) and the organizer of PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas 2022 Hybrid Edition.
“The event will showcase indoor and outdoor displays from various brands, from small to the largest suppliers and manufacturers in the country. Through the years, we have opened different opportunities and led to several successful projects here and abroad. Our goal is to connect people in the building and construction industry, leading to new discoveries and opportunities,” added Junn Elepano, Event Overall Chairman.
Aside from the trade exhibition showcasing a diverse array of brands, PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas will also facilitate seminars held by some of its partner organizations.
The Philippine Society of Ventilating, Airconditioning, and Refrigerating Engineers (PSVARE) will hold Green Building Sessions, while a Management Leadership Seminar will be facilitated by the Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors, Inc. (ACEL).
Attendees can also take part in the Digital Transformation and Supply Chain Management workshops during the three-day expo.
“There is going to be something for everyone. This is one of the most comprehensive events we have ever put together for the Visayas. A sizable expo, loads of seminars and training programs, and on-site technical training for practitioners all under one roof,” said Will Decena, PCA President.
PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas 2022 Hybrid Edition will also hold a skills demonstration session with the goal of helping industry practitioners and experts to train, develop skills, and share knowledge with local builders and constructors.
PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas 2022 Hybrid Edition will also be held simultaneously (and in one onsite venue) with three other much-anticipated industry events—the Hotel Suppliers Show Visayas, the Print & Label Visayas, and the Packaging & Plastics Visayas, which are all in the hybrid format as well.
Entrance and virtual access to the PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas 2022 Hybrid Edition are free. The three-day trade show will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
