Mayor-elect warns of apparent scam

Malabon Mayor-elect Jeannie Sandoval warned her constituents about an apparent scam purporting to give away aid, land, houses, wages and jobs this coming July 1st.

Sandoval reminded her constituents that her term of office has not yet begun and she has nothing to do with the documents offering such promises.

Aside from the Urban Poor form, another form targeting senior citizens and PWDs asking for their signatures which again promises benefits are said to be circulating. This form uses the logo of Malabon Citizen Welfare Association Inc.

In view of this, Sandoval reminds her constituents, not to easily believe any sweet promises, especially if there is no proof of its authenticity.

Sandoval will assume office as mayor of Malabon starting June 30th.
