WIll there be a rare matchup between Southeast Asia’s best, Team Sibol, and Team BTK of the United States? It could happen.
Team Sibol, in an official statement posted on its Facebook page, said it is up to the challenge posed earlier by a team BTK member.
“It has come to our attention that BTK’s Team Captain “MobaZane” has laid out several challenges to Team Sibol Pilipinas during his rant-filled streams. There has also been speculation online regarding what would happen in an MLBB match between Team Sibol Pilipinas and Team USA.”
“Why don’t we find out?” the statement continued. “Team Sibol Pilipinas will be attending the realme Mobile Legends Cup (RMC) Season 6 this Sunday as a special guest.”
“If Team USA wants to face us, you know where to find us.”
Sibol’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Team won the gold in the esports competition of the recent 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam by beating Indonesia,3-1, in the finals.
The team is composed of Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna, Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario, Kyle Dominic “Dominic” Soto, Salic Alauya “Hadji” Imam, Lee Howard “Owl” Gonzales, Dexstar Louise “DEX STAR” Cruz Alaba and Russel Aaron “Eyon” Usi.
Sibol fielded a total of 54 esports athletes across 10 events for titles such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, FIFA Online 4, Crossfire, Free Fire, League of Legends (Wild Rift, PC), and PlayersUnknownBattlegrounds (PUBG).
The team also bagged the gold in the women’s ML event and two silver medals courtesy of the League of Legends (PC) and Crossfire squads.

The possible exhibition match between Team PH and Team USA could be the Season 6 Grand Finals of its multi-awarded Mobile Legends Cup (RMC) happening on Sunday (June 5) put up by realme, awarded as the Philippines’ no. 1 smartphone brand for 2021.
Team BTK happens to be in the Philippines and Team Sibol is ready anytime and will be attending the event as guests.
After a series of play-offs that commenced last May 12, two (2) teams have qualified for the final round.
Team CEREBRUM PRO will go head to head with Team MONSTER ANARCHY as they battle out their Mobile Legends supremacy during the epic Grand Finals, happening at the SMX Convention Center starting at 9:30 in the morning.
The Grand Finals event will also see the attendance of well-respected esports figures like Alodia Gosiengfiao, Akosi Dogie, and Ghost Wrecker, together with fan-favorite casters Shinboo, Manjean, Wolf, Butters, Rob, Sonah, Burritto, Beebeembap, HoneyGlazee, and the debut of realme caster OSX and Chantelle.
To top it all off, Squad can also look forward to a special performance from VXON, the rising PPOP group who sang RMC Season 6’s official music track, The Beast.
