MPT South Management Corp. on Monday announced the appointment of a new president and general manager as the company accelerates its digital transformation.
The company said it appointed Raul Ignacio as president and general manager effective April 18, in place of Roberto Bontia.
“Ignacio has extensive years of experience and expertise in our organization with a tenure that started with NLEX Corp. and has led our company’s initial venture into the mobility space by heading MPT Mobility since 2020,” MPT South said.
Bontia was designated as chief transformation officer to head on a full-time capacity the business transformation office of Metro Pacific Tollways Corp.
As one of the most senior executives of the organization, Bontia will ensure the effective implementation of group-wide transformation projects.
MPT South operates the Manila-Cavite Expressway and Cavite-Laguna Expressway.
