E-commerce start-up GrowSari, in partnership with International Finance Corp., raised another $77.5 million in fresh capital from its Series C offering to help informal retailers, especially women, to gain access and bigger exposure to the supply chain.
GrowSari co-founder and chief executive Reymund Rollan said the recent fundraiser brought total funding to about $110 million, the largest amount raised in the business-to-business and MSME space in the Philippines and in the region.
“We are very grateful for the confidence shown by existing and new investors as we try to transform the MSME space in the Philippines. Not only will this funding allow us to fuel our growth, but this will also help us bring top global quality talent in operations, technology, and data science into the startup ecosystem of the Philippines,” he said.
