Fil-American Caelum Harris was formally added to a 16-man Gilas Pilipinas national men’s basketball team formed for the South East Asian Games in Vietnam. Coach Chot Reyes included the 6’7″ Harris to the team that includes a mix of pros and former Gilas players.
Reyes announced his list at the end of the TNT Tropang Giga’s encounter with NorthPort Batang Pier in the Philippine basketball Association Governors’ Cup Friday night.
Also listed are Japeth Aguilar, Junemar Fajardo, Kevin Alas, Robert Bolick Jr., Kib Montalbo, Matthew Wright and Will Navarro.
Roger Pogoy, Thirdy Ravena and Dwight Ramos are also there with LeBron Lopez, Poy Erram, Mo Tautuaa, Troy Rosario and Isaac Go.
The 6’7″ Harris, a small forward, studies at Stewarts Creek High School in Tennessee.
Harris’ family originates from Marigondon, Cebu.
