KFC Philippines opens a branch along Quezon Ave., Cotabato City, Maguindanao—the quick-service restaurant’s first sub-franchised outlet in Mindanao through Seven Jewels Corp. KFC sees strong expansion potential in Mindanao as investors in the region are beginning to appreciate the opportunities being presented by KFC’s innovative and hassle-free sub-franchising scheme. Seven Jewels plans to expand the KFC brand in the Soccsksargen Region, comprising of the provinces of South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani, and General Santos City, and other areas of opportunity in Mindanao.
