Clean and off-limits

A member of the Manila Police District Command patrols the area around to the Santo Niño de Tondo Church on Saturday after workers from the Manila Department of Public Services disinfected the area (below), to prevent devotees from congregating and spreading COVID-19 amid the Omicron-fueled surge. The feast day of Sto. Niño in Tondo is celebrated every third Sunday of January.
