Industrial design students of Mapua University presented their ideas as they showcased furniture and prototypes that would accommodate today’s daily needs during their group exhibit.

The Class of 2019: The Next Chapter Exhibit held at S Maison included works of the program's Portfolio class. Pieces displayed included tables, chairs, and lighting fixtures, as well as other everyday items like shoes and bags. Also included were prototypes of some appliances like microwave oven and hotplate.

The Class 2019: The Next Chapter Exhibit features design prototypes made by industrial design students from Mapua University, including (from left) Enry Castro's Albina table lamp made of laser-cut plywood, Shaun Raflores' mirrorless camera and Cunic-01 mouse, Hart Vincent Abellon's Triskelion, and Kent Montealto's Jeep Wrangler-inspired leather boots. 

The Form Development class also participated with works highlighting materials and techniques in a range of various model constructions that generate and develop forms as structures and visual entities.

The Industrial Design program is part of Mapua University’s School of Architecture, Industrial Design and The Built Environment.
