Technolux features Van Houten cocoa

Some 150 business owners, homebakers and aspiring foodpreneurs attended the recent Technolux Business Series at Mall of Kitchens which was organized by Culinary Best Source Inc. in collaboration with two leading food brands—Van Houten Professional and Monin Creative Flavor Solutions.

CBSI is a division of Technolux, the country’s largest importer and supplier of a complete line of foodservice, small wares and laundry equipment for 44 years.

Van Houten Professional, the pioneers in Cocoa on a quest for professional quality and European Heritage, is a brand of Barry Callebaut, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolates and other cocoa products from Belgium while Monin is touted to be the world’s leading brand in premium flavorings for cocktails, coffee and other culinary applications. These brands will give home bakers and foodpreneurs samples of delicious sweets and beverages pairings.

During the TBS, pastry chefs from Academy of Pastry and Culinary Arts conducted baking demos using Van Houten Professional compound chocolates. Beverage Innovators from Monin, meanwhile, paired these pastries with coffee, blended, iced and hot beverages using its premium flavorings to the delight of the guests.

TBS is held regularly by Technolux to introduce world-class kitchen equipment and quality ingredients to foodpreneurs, chefs and enterprises engaged in the F&B industry. The series is also aimed at helping them discover what will work best for their businesses through product demos and engagements with guest speakers from different countries.
